Hi, I’m Marione, artist, writer, and lover of good gifts.
For someone who prefers being alone, I like people. Life would be a miserable place without each other. While someone is still in your life, show them how much you care.
That’s why I started Hopefully Housed. Each card is physically drawn, then digitized, labored on through days of tears, frustration, and the perplexity that making art is supposed to be fun, but making art for a business will make one pull one’s hair out and be glad to be bald.
Despite the balding, swearing, and tears, I keep creating, knowing that somewhere out there, someone appreciated what I made.
My only goal is for my work to put a smile on people’s faces, whether through my portrait commissions or greeting cards.
